Project Based vs Hourly

If you are looking to work with me, I would prefer to work “project based” instead of hourly. A lot of hours can go into all of this and I don’t think it’s fair to charge for all of that. Before we settled on anything, we would go over what your exact needs are and how long we think it should take then go from there.

Rates

Ok, I know a lot of people would just prefer to see a hard $ amount but the truth is, I don’t have one. This is something we should discuss but if I had to put a number on certain services, see below:

  • Initial consultation & meeting of needs: Free
  • Social media overview: $150
    • Explanation of Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Google+, Instagram, DailyBooth, Viddler, etc.
  • Video production overview: $150
    • Thoughts on cameras, video/photo editing, computer choices, etc.
  • Web design overview: $150
    • What makes a good site, which elements you need on your site, redesign ideas, etc.
  • General consulting for marketing & promotional ideas: $150
    • Ask me anything & even get some marketing ideas if interested.
  • 3 hour one-on-one session of Twitter (or other network/tool): $400
    • Everything from picking out and installing the best application for you to explaining the various types of retweets. There is even time set aside so I can sit with you while you practice what we just went over.
Those amounts listed are based on approximately 1-2 hours of hands on time. If you are looking for just a generic hourly rate of consulting, I’m available for $75 an hour.
