While being very advanced and having tons of features, this app is also extremely intuitive. The ability to save searches and lists is also a big bonus.

TweetDeck allows for multiple accounts and even your Facebook feed or saved searches. Tweetie and Twitter for Mac are more ‘pretty’ but lack the sheer robustness of TweetDeck.
